News updated 6.5.2020
Visitors of the Aalto sites are very special and important clients to us. Therefore, we want to make sure that the coronavirus will not spread through our Museum sites. For this reason, we are closely following the policy of Government of Finland on this issue.
Alvar Aalto Foundation´s Museum Sites (Alvar Aalto Museum in Jyväskylä and the Aalto House and Studio Aalto in Helsinki) have been closed according to guidance issued by the Government of Finland at least until May 13, 2020. All events are cancelled until May 31, 2020. We will keep the audience informed if the situation changes.
For customers who have purchased a ticket from the web shop, the Foundation will automatically provide a refund within one week. Possible inquiries concerning the tickets: shop@alvaraalto.fi
Although the museum sites are closed, architecture and design can be explored through our digital channels. Alvar Aalto´s modern architecture and design classics can be found in our web site here.
You can enjoy the Inka Kivalo’s colourist works at the Alvar Aalto Museum´s Gallery exhibition here.
Now it is also a good time to visit our Alvar Aalto Shop on the web and do some shoppings here.
Future trips to Aalto sites can be planned at our Visit Alvar Aalto web service.
