A guided tour is always included in the ticket price when visiting The Aalto House and the Studio Aalto. You can book and purchase the tour directly from our online store. Please note, that the House and Studio can only be visited with a guided tour.
You can also book a private visit to The Aalto House and the Studio Aalto. Private tours must be booked in advance, and should be scheduled outside of normal opening hours. Upon request, group visits can be provided in Finnish, Swedish, English, Japanese, German, or French, depending on the availability of our guides.

You can also book guided tours to the House of Culture and the city centre of Helsinki. The Helsinki tour includes visits to four sites designed by the Aaltos. Possible stops include the Rautatalo Office Building, the Academic Bookstore, the Erottaja Pavilion, the former Enso-Gutzeit co. Headquarters, and the former Nordic Union Bank. The guide selects the sites based on the group’s wishes and the availability of the sites. For an additional fee, the Helsinki tour can also include a visit to the Restaurant Savoy, which includes a sparkly drink and canapés.

You can book a guided tour of the Alvar Aalto Museum’s permanent exhibition Aalto – Work and Life, which sheds light on the world-famous architect’s personality and his work as an architect, designer, and artist. Guided Tours at the Muuratsalo Experimental House
A guided tour is always included in the ticket price when visiting the Muuratsalo Experimental House. You can book and purchase the tour directly from the Aalto2 website. Please note, that the Experimental House can only be visited with a guided tour.
Group visits are arranged according to your wishes and possibilities. Private tours must be booked in advance, and should be scheduled outside of normal opening hours. Upon request, group visits can be provided in Finnish or English.
