Over the last 20 years, I have been closely involved in research of sustainable design for large-scale projects such as high-rise towers and entire urban low-carbon districts. The typology of the ‘tall + green tower’ is now gaining increasing momentum in Asia’s rapid urbanisation, where cities have been in the process of verticalisation for some time.
