The new-building work on the neighbouring University of Jyväskylä site is affecting visitor car parking for the museums in Ruusupuisto Park. There are now very few parking spaces. It is advisable to arrive to visit the Museum by local bus. The nearest bus stops are North of the Museum on Keskussairaalantie Road and North-East of it on Vapaudenkatu Street.

There are a small number of car-parking spaces for visitors in front of the Museum. Parking permits are available from the ticket office!
