The Alvar Aalto Museum’s changing exhibitions for 2013 will focus on Finnish contemporary art and the curvilinear Aalto stool. The total of nine exhibitions will include works by visual artists Elena Näsänen and Hannu Karjalainen.

2013 is also the year of the Aalto stool. This classic now celebrating 80 years in production will be seen in January in Cologne and, later in the spring, in an exhibition A Stool Makes History in the Alvar Aalto Museum Gallery.
