Studio Aalto can only be visited by joining a guided tour.
The number of visitors is limited to 15 per tour.
We strongly recommend making a reservation in advance – see shop.alvaraalto.fi.
Pre-sale of tickets in the online shop ends 1 hour before the tour. Possible unsold tickets are available on-site before each tour. Please note that the most popular tours might get fully booked in advance.
The duration of the visit is 1 hour. The guided tour lasts about 30-40 minutes, after which it is possible to enjoy the building and its spaces at your own pace.
Guided tours are offered daily in English, on weekends in Finnish, and on selected dates in Japanese.
Fees from 1.1.2026:
Regular price 22 €/per person
Students, senior citizens and unemployed 11 €/per person

Group fees from 1.1.2026:
The minimum charge is 140 € on weekdays between 8 am and 5 pm, and 220 € in the evenings and on weekends. If the total cost of the group’s admission tickets exceeds the minimum charge, the price of the visit is based on the number of participants.
Private tours are available in English, Japanese, German, Finnish, Swedish and French.
If you are interested in visiting The Aalto House as well, please check the timetable in advance. The Aalto House and the Studio Aalto are located relatively close to each other, the distance is about 500 metres.
There is a museum shop in the Studio Aalto. We accept both cash and credit card payments.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the studio.
There is no café in the building.
Photography for private, non-commercial purposes is allowed (without a flash or tripod). We welcome you to share your photos with us on Instagram and Facebook.
Due to safety reasons, large bags can’t be taken into the museum spaces.
Accessibility: there are stairs at the Studio House. There is no wheelchair access.
There is no waiting room inside the building. Your guide will open the door a few minutes before the tour starts. While waiting you are welcome to visit the garden.
Camera supervision (CCTV) is in operation throughout the house.
Museum Card is not valid in the Studio Aalto.

A one-hour visit explores the history and architecture of Aalto’s office with an expert guide and allows personal time to soak up the special atmosphere, take photographs, make sketches and visit the museum shop. Studio Aalto is located in Munkkiniemi area in Helsinki.
