The year of shows at Studio Aalto will come to an end with the Northern Nature exhibition, to be opened on Tuesday 25 November. The exhibition, mainly made up of photographs, is conceived by the architect Olli Lehtovuori, who once also worked at Alvar Aalto’s regional planning office in Rovaniemi.

lehtovuori_planssi_pThe fascinating exhibition will take the viewer on an exploration of the close relationship between nature and architecture. The exhibition is divided into four thematic sections: forest, river, rock and lake. The earliest photographs on view at the exhibition were taken on Lehtovuori’s kayaking trips, back in the 1970s.

In connection with the exhibition opening, we are celebrating the start of the Christmas season traditionally, by serving mulled wine. You are warmly invited to join us!
