The International Aino and Alvar Aalto Design Colloquium – DESIGN & PEACE is on 14-15 June 2019 in Säynätsalo Town Hall, Jyväskylä. The organizers are the Alvar Aalto Academy, the City of Jyväskylä and other partners. The theme of DESIGN & PEACE challenges participants to view “peace through the lens of design”.

The Colloquium is for invited professionals and experts who come from a variety of disciplines and perspectives. Part of the programme will be streamed online and recordings will be available online indefinitely. The Colloquium’s programme for the public includes open lectures, exhibitions and other activities produced in cooperation with local partners.
