Alvar Aalto called Jyväskylä ‘The Florence of the North’. During the workshop, those taking part will study and observe the museum building and its surroundings, from the outside. The idea is to enjoy the summer and paint a postcard in watercolours, to send to a friend. The workshops are open to all. Enroll beforehand at: museum@alvaraalto.fi. There is room for 20 participants in each workshop. The cost of materials is 4 euros which can be paid at the workshop.
