The Alvar Aalto Week will be held in Seinäjoki, Finland 13–17 September 2017. The week offers an interesting, interactive programme for local residents and students and professionals in the field. The events will focus on Alvar Aalto’s oeuvre and design ideology, along with topical issues related to the built environment:

• What is important in built environment right now?
• What are the most topical technological challenge?
• What kind of environment makes us feel good?
• How architecture can be discussed through art?
• How should we talk about architecture?
