Alvar Aalto Week 2024 will be held in Alajärvi on 30.8–8.9. Its theme is “Humanity, harmony and organic life”.

Alvar Aalto Week offers experiences for people of all ages. The diverse programme includes concerts, lectures, exhibitions, workshops and other events, all set in the midst of Aalto’s buildings. Alajärvi also offers a unique opportunity to explore the different phases of architect Alvar Aalto’s life and architecture over 70 years.

The main organiser of Alvar Aalto Week is the City of Alajärvi.

Alvar Aalto Week is the annual main event of the international Network of Alvar Aalto Cities. Alajärvi is chairing the Network in 2024.
