UNESCO World Heritage

National Pensions Institute KELA is part of the Aalto Works series, a collection of thirteen sites designed by Alvar, Aino and Elissa Aalto and inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

The National Pensions Institute headquarters is an example of a building that combines the development of the welfare state with human-centred office architecture. The site represents administrative construction, which brings public services and architecture together.
