The design of the Villa Skeppet has been compared to the design of a jewel case because of the building’s small size and the plethora of detail. During the workshop, those taking part will study Göran Schildt’s house, the Villa Skeppet, its architecture and its details, and then build a model house of their own in the spirit of Alvar Aalto, out of a cardboard box and various other materials, in which to keep jewellery or souvenirs.
