The Ruusupuisto competition winners will be announced tomorrow on Finland’s Architecture Day and Alvar Aalto’s birthday, 3 February 2016.
The popularity of the public architectural competition run by the Alvar Aalto Foundation and the City of Jyväskylä exceeded all expectations. A total of 689 entries were received.
The prizes will be awarded at the Museum of Central Finland in Jyväskylä. More info about the competition at www.alvaraalto.fi/ruusupuisto.
Alvar Aalto Museum offers visitors a free entry on Aalto’s birthday.
